how to display more than 256 characters in string field

Hi,

I'm using a XML datasource for the report. There is a "messagetxt" field which needs to be shown as report field.

The "Messagetxt" is of string datatype and has data more than 256 characters.

when i run the report.. the "messagetxt" field displays only 256 characters and truncates the rest of data..

Please let me know the option to display all data.

CR 8.5 has a 254 limit to all formulas, but it should be OK if you place a field containing more than 254 characters.
