I have a VB program that will be executed from the DOS/Command line (no windows/forms). It accepts an argument and performs a simple task.
How do I display messages on the console? Seems like it ought to be easy but I can't figure out how. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Actually, this is a FAQ entry now Jixer.

Does your link add anything to the FAQ? I'm more than happy to incorporate it if it does. [sig]
Mike
michael.j.lacey@ntlworld.com
<a href= Cargill's Corporate Web Site
Making mistakes, so you don't have to. <grin>[/sig]

Mike, the article Jixer describes is an excellent primer for console programming, detailing every aspect from getting user input to setting colors. I had hoped you would have included some of these functions in your FAQ. This is some really good stuff. :)
