Hi,

When designing a particular form I have created a rectangular white shape, with 4 buttons on it and 4 fields.
In the designmode all looks fine and the code works 100%.

My problem is that after compiling in the .EXE some buttons and fields are hidden behind the shape and therefore are not visible. I tried several times to put the buttons and fields on the foreground, shape to the background, recompile, etc, but allways with the same faulty result.

How do I hardcode that these buttons and fields are allways visible on top of the shape?

Regards, Gerrit

Select Shape and from Format menu select Send to Back

Boris,

I must have tried this at least 100 times (for hours...). When designing it's OK. After compiling I run the code and agains some fileds and buttons are not visible. I sent all buttons and fields to FRONT and ths shape to BACK.

I know what I'm doing, it just doesn't work!

Regards, Gerrit

Strange, What version of VFP you use?
Did you add these controls programaticly during the Init of the form or somewhere else?
What happens if you remove completely this shape (just for testing).
Did you use ZORDER somehere in this form?

Boris,

I'm using VFP8 SP1. I think I just solved it using ZORDER in the form's INIT.

Thanks for bringing ZORDER back to my attention.

Regards, Gerrit
