How to Disconnect Fiber Remote from an Opt 81??

I have a fiber remote that needs to be disconnected while a remodel is taking place. I need to know where in software to disable and if there are any hazards to disabling that in the opt 81c.

ld 32 disl x 0, x being = to the remote loop number. the switch will not ask are you sure. it will take the loop down. the switch will try to bring it up every night during routines. remove 32 from your drol (ovly) to avoid that or better yet take the loop out

Another suggestion, would be to move the reomote to your swutch room and leave it connected (better for your equipment imo to have it in the switch room and connected. You won't have to worry with taking the lop out of service or messing with midnight routines.
