How to Disable Workplace Messaging 1

I have onsite system using workplace mobile app, works great. I continue to get a messaging error, which I understand as I don't have or care to have One-X Portal running. My question is there a way to disable messaging so the app doesn't continue to receive this error? I have no need for messaging and don't want it.

awesome, I will try that. do you know any other settings like that, we only want to use the workplace app as a softphone, no other feautres? are these documented anywhere?
