How to disable inactive ports 2

Anyone know the command to disable 2000's at midnight, if they are not connected. I'd like to know how to enable, disable, and view this feature.

if there isn't a phone connected to a tn it automatically disables don't it? unless it is analog

Only if you have your switch set up to do so in the midnight routine.

For DROL 30, I'm trying to find a description of 30 in the manual and cannot find a specific listing of what each program does. Anyone know where it can be found or what exactly program 30 is?

disable occurs only if 30 is ran in the midn.. it's a good idea to leave it on, an unplugged phone can take twice the cpu time that a working phone takes.. even worse if it gets a lot of calls...

When invoked manually on systems, the Overlay may be used to:

• get the enable/disable status of network loops
• enable or disable network loops

• download peripheral software on superloops
• clear contents of the Controller maintenance display
• read contents of the Controller maintenance display

• perform a signaling test on a specific card or unit
• perform a continuity test and signaling test on the Small System IPE
