How to disable double click in a datagrid of OE2500

Hi

I have customized OE2500 (Sales history)in accpac 5.1 except the problem below.

When the user double click on a row in OE2500 it will take them to "Sales history Detail".

I don't want the user to view the "sales history detail". So How do I disable double click in OE2500 or how do I control that action to open another customized form instead of "Sales History details form".

Please help urgent.

Thanks for the reply. I have been told by my boss not to disable doble click instead when user double click on the selected row in a OE2500 datagrid, I want direct them to customised sales history detail instead of the default one.

So how do I alter the accpac double click event on the datagrid ?

You will have to get a developer to help you with this.

Unrelated questions, if I may:
- are you working for the ACCPAC user or the consultant?
- why are you still on version 5.1?

I have solved the problem. Use some other form for your questions. not this. Also change your title from (programmer to somthing else).

Your comments are un-called for. If you are working for an end user I would offer our services to you on a consulting basis. If you are a developer with your own business I would give you more assistance to help you get going.

As for the version question - 5.1 has issues with event firing which were solved in certain OCX's in 5.4 so concentrating your development on a later version will help some of the issues.

Finally - I have been programming ACCPAC before you probably even knew the product existed. You will receive no further comment from me on any of your posts.

Yes I am new to this forum . I came to tek-tips because I am NEW TO ACCPAC(Eventhough its developed by Big company its not a great software- I hate).
