How to Disable D-channel

How do I disable d-channel? I went to load 96 then typed dis dch 10. D channel was still establish.

I did this exact same thing earlier today and it worked fine.
load 96
dis dch 31 auto
The only thing I can think of is that you disabled a different d-channel than the one you looked at.

Whats the auto for? I just did dis dch 10.

the d is in auto recovery at all times, when you dis dch x, it may est before you can get to 60 and disl the loop. dis dch x, twice, does the same thing..after you dis the d, then the loop, then enll x the loop, the dch will est without going back to 96.. that insures auto recovery when it drops at the worst possible time
