Hi all,

We have our BCM50 Autoattendant set up with a couple of Greetings and CCR Trees. What I would like to know is...

Is it possible to prevent a caller from bypassing the full Greeting before it's finished? At the moment, if a caller presses on their keypad during the Greeting, they get routed to the correct extension as per the CCR Tree. We would like for them to be forced to listen to the full Greeting first, and then only be allowed to select which extension they require when the recorded options are underway.

Thanks in advance!

No you can not stop it when the AA greeting is playing but If you had the call center s/w $$ you can play a forced greeting that means they have to listen.

Thanks. Is the software called actually "$$" ? Where is it available from?

Is it called $$...? That was way funny, I needed that. Anyway get yourself a basic call center keycode buddy and do some programming. You will be able to find that very easily.

That's how his post read, weird as it sounded. I'm guessing that acquiring keycodes = spending money that I haven't got. Thanks all the same.

Yeah, I just wish it was someone elses money :) Considering the amount of configurable options in Business Element Manager and Callpilot Manager, I'm a bit miffed that I can't set this feature in either of these 2 programs. Out of interest though, where is the cheapest source for keycodes?
