How to deploy a site

I have developed a site and I need to host that with an already existing one..How can I do that??

Couple of questions...

already existing? will this be an addition to a site or a page under another directory? or is this a whole new url?

do you have ftp access? does the host support .net? is the existing already .net? do you have the passwords required to access the web host? do you have a web host yet?

Actually I dont have any answer for any of ur questions. I just want to deploy a whole new site or URL. I want to know how to proceed on this!!??
