Hi,

We are running an education institute and our customer are students.

We have Windows Server 2003 Domain and an Exchange Server 2003 installed under this Domain. E-mails are accessible from Internal as well as from Internet successfully. However, we want to restrict all students who have completed their courses from accessing internal resources and but allowing them to access their e-mail box on Exchange Server from Internal and External network.

Can any one help how this can be configured.

Regards
Faheem

Make a dmz and put a exchange frontend server in that dmz, allow the students who need to access the mailbox to connect to the frontend server and let the frontendserver connect to the mailboxstore on the internal network backendserver. Restrict traffic between the front and backend servers to be email.

Hi Lars,

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate.

Can you help me with any link or technical document that would help me to implement the solution.

Regards,
Faheem
