How to: Delete writing from picture?

I am wondering is there a tool that will allow writing on a picture to become invisible so that the background image is left alone? This is when the writing on the picture is now part of the picture. I do now want to cut and paste/copy areas around the writing to place over it.

I hope this text covers small area on your picture.
Like Jimo pointed, you do need to read the manual on those two topics as well as "spot healing brush tool/healing tool/patch tool" depending on the version of Photoshop. Your problem shouldn't be too hard to solve with any of the mentioned tools.
