The other day I added "Go to Footer" on the QATB (Quick Access Toolbar). Today I created a footer in an Excel 2010 worksheet by first clicking on "Go to Footer" then via "page setup" in lower right hand corner of Page Layout, Header/Footer, Custom Footer, and clicked on the icon "insert File Path" the filename and path was added but it is not visible on the worksheet ONLY on the print preview.

Q1) This Footer is located far below the last row on the worksheet so I want to delete it but how can I select it to delete if it does not appear on the worksheet?

When I click on the QATB drop down menu, the "Go to Footer" option is not listed and I do not remember how I added it to the QATB.

Q2) How then do I remove the "Go to Footer" icon from the QATB?

Yesterday instead of using the "Go to Footer" button on the QATB, I was simply clicking on the cell where I wanted the footer to appear and then adding the footer as mentioned above. This seems safer and is why I now want to delete the "Go to footer" icon or "button."
