Hello!

Normally when you delete records from tables, you enter invalid data or things like that, Access normally displays either an error or informatiom message which is quite difficult for a user with very little undertanding of computer terms. So is there anyway i can customize these messages or disable them and put my own messages in a more user-friendly way?

Hi

Yes

But to explain how depends on where and what you want to suppress

for example teh validation property in a control on a form, you can include a custom message in the validationmessage property

if you want to suppress the 'about to delete n records message' on a bound form then in the before delete event put Response = acDataErrContinue, and in the OnDelete event put code to display your custom message (and possibly cancel the delete)
