How to Create Running Total of a Summary Field

I have a report that summarizes sales dollars by date (the total is in the SLSDATE group and is a summation of the SALESDOL field in the detail section). I would like to get a running total of this summary field but I cannot see a way to do this in CR X. Any ideas?

Running Totals don't work against summaries.

By Running Total you mean that you want the value to increase with each date in the group?

You can create a manual formula:

numbervar MyRT := MyRT+sum({table.field},{table.dategroupfield})

Place this in the group header or group footer, adjusting the fields accordingly.
