How to create bulk users/Mailboxes

hi

i have to create some 300 users/mailboxes in Windows2K/Exchange2K environment, in a spicfic OU/Exchange
server. Is there any script to do that?How effectively
i can use Adduser.exe? any help in this will be of great help. Pls.

Hi,

I had to do the very same thing. I used Excel to create batch files. You have to enter all the details in, but for things that are duplicated you gut cut and paste.

If you would like a copy of this Excel spreadsheet give me an Email..

There maybe an easier way, but this worked fine for me.

HI!

The best way I have heard of (didn't try it yet) is to create a text file and import with a Win2K utility called
CSVDE
Look for more information about it in the Inet and in MS resource kit.

Another approach is to script it.
I have created a VBS script to add users to Win2K AD (not tested with Exchange),
but you can use this script as a sample to edit and build your own.
It is called NewUser.VBS and is part of my NUTS free collection, available from here:
