Can someone explain the AUX Code, specific to how they are created. I need to know where I should look to change/modify them, I am doing this on an G3si 1.2 in one of my sights that has no CMS yet.

Thanks.

Wait a minute, I may have misread this. Aux codes. I was thinking of Auth codes. Sorry.
Richard

To activate Aux codes, you would go to "change sys fea" and then change the "Aux Reason Code" field to either forced, on request, or none. Forced means that they must put in a one-digit reason code to activate AUX. On request means that it will ask for one, but they don't have to enter it. And none will not request one at all.

Now, once they're on, the only way that you can report on them is through CMS.

marcell,
Are you saying that one can not account for Aux Reason Codes with BCMS?
Richard

I haven't seen any real time reports in BCMS that would show the current AUX reason code or any historical reports that would show time spent in a particular Aux Reason Code.

marcell,
Hmmmmmm... *richard raises one eyebrow and tilts head slightly to the right*

Are u talking about the aux buttons that u put on agents phones so they can indicate why they are not taking a call? U can designate which button indicates: if they are on break, assisting another tech, or just hurting your bottom line by shooting the &*%$# with the person of the opposite sex at the water cooler. Then u can collate and regurgatate all these beans (whoops i mean important data) to your boss.

Wow, one simple question caused all this feedback, I'm impressed.

the BCMS statements are interesting though.

The answer I was looking for was from skara. Thank you all anyway and cornydog, I have panzershrek (German Bazooka) just for these type of folks, he he he.
