Hi,

How do i sum all the information i have until the date filtered in the data dimension?

Example:

2003-01-10 10
2003-05-10 15
2003-06-10 10
2004-04-10 15
2004-05-10 10
2004-08-10 15
2004-09-10 10

What i need is filter the date dimension to the month 8 of 2004 and get the sum of all between 2003-01-10 to 2004-08-10.
Total:75

This is possible?

You don't say what application you're using so at a guess if you're using Powerplay Transformer to create cubes then you will need to create a special date category using Rolling 12 months.

Create a special time category

set the relative time to custom

Basic Approach = N Period Running Total

Target Period = Months/Periods with target offset = -12

Context = year

When you rebuild the cube this will create a dimesion Level containing the last 12 months/periods.

If ReportNet then, create a filter "date_time_field<?p_dateTime?".

This will filter data less than the selected in the prompt page.

Hope this helps...

Sorry i forgot refer the application: Powerplay Transformer
GJParker: I'am gonna try your suggestion. I'll let you know the results.

Thanks
