How does one figure out how many words a document has?

Sort by date Sort by votes
In Microsoft Word, you need to:

# Make sure that there are no highlighted sections in the document
# Go to 'Tools' sub menu
# Go to 'Word Count'

That should counts all the words in the document.

-File
-Properties
-Statistics ASD...

Properties
Statistics
This will give you Pages, Paragraphs, Lines, Words, Characters and Characters with spaces.
