i need to copy multiple files from a folder with file name that consists of ABC.
example:
i got ABC, ABCD, ABC_123, BCD, ABC_6767, i would like to copy all files that have the name of ABC.

Please kindly hlep on the code with VB6?
Thanks.

Check your VB6 help for Left, Dir and FileCopy

Have fun.

Even Left is not needed. Dir function supports wild cards which will allow you to filter out those files only which start with (or contain) ABC in file name.
