I'm using Crystal 8.5 and VB6 sp5 I have a number of reports - Dsr files. I need to make a new report based on one of the Dsr files without changing the original. Doing a save as only changes the Dsr name instead of making a copy of the original Dsr and making a new copy with another name.
Any suggestions how I can make a copy, modify it and save using another name so that the original will stay intact and the new one will be a new report ?

I hope this is clear, if not I will try to elaborate.

Thanks for any and all help :)

in the RDC 8.5 integrated to VB6, you have an icon that allows you to save as a CR file (shape of a floppy-disk, near the zoom control)
Then you just have to act as if you wanted to add a new crystalreports 8.5 file to your projetct, which will create a new .dsr, the one that you want :)
