Please,I want to know how to convert from dbase files to topspeeed database files in a simple way.
1 I am not a programmer.
2 I do Not have Clarion.

Thank You.

Without Clarion you'll need something that can talk to both of the file systems you're working with (dBase & TopSpeed). The only way I know to hit the TopSpeed files without using the Clarion development tool is to track down the TopSpeed ODBC drive. Once you have that there are many tools to choose from with regard to data conversion. I've personally used DataJunction ( and WinSQL Professional ( With either of these tools you can set up conversions and/or transformations of your data from one source to the other.

Hope this helps.

There is no 3rd party tool which import data into a topspeed (tps) file which I am aware of. Also it is very risky as data inegrity checks often exist in code and adding "renegade" data may violate the entire dataset when program logic is not considered.
