Is there any freeware, shareware or other application that can convert an AVI into a Java applet? I have some Bryce 3D animations I've saved as SWFs in Flash, but when published to an HTML page, they never load, so I am wondering if perhaps I could convert my AVIs into Java applets, instead. Any opinions, advice, etc?

How big is your flash movie?
I have never seen anything that will convert any
kind of pic or movies to java.
And if you have a link that we can look at that
would be helpful.

Well, the orignal Bryce 3D-created AVI is over 26Mb and the Flash SWF is 1.23Mb. A little big, but, surely, it should load. The first one of these I did in the same manner with the same applications, and it opened in my IE browser and ran there just as it should have. This new one, though, acts as if it's loading in IE, but never does. The last time I tried it, I patiently waited - until I got the dreaded "Blue Screen of Death," and my 'puter crashed. I don't know if it's something about the HTML code generated when I published it in Flash, or what. All I know is, the first time I imported a Bryce animation to Flash and saved published the movie, it opened and ran perfectly in IE.
