hi
i have two linksys srw2016 and one router like this :

|srw2016-2|---trunk--->|srw2016-1|---trunk--->|router|
| | | |
| | | |
| | | |
| | | |
pc groups 2 pc groups 1

the router accept only vlan1 (data) and vlan2 (voice)

i configure the srw2016-1 like this and it works :
VLAN 1 : port 1 to 8
VLAN 2 : port 10 to 15
trunk : port 9 to the router, port 16 to the port 9 of srw2016-2

i configure the srw2016-2 like this and it doesn't work :
VLAN 1 : port 1 to 8
VLAN 2 : port 10 to 16
trunk : port 9 to the port 16 of srw2016-1

i don't understand why...
someone have a tips ?
thx a lot

What kind of router are you using? Does it have Layer 3 routing capability for VLANs?

....JIM....

it's the router of my privider (france telecom)
i have solve the probleme
i don't touch the first switch configuration

i just touch the second switch configuration
i don't touch the configuration vlans

in "VLAN Management" and "Port Setting"
configuration for all port 1 to 8:
- mode : general
- Acceptable Frame Type : admit all
- PVID : 1

and it's work fine well now
