hi.
i have an access 2007 database that i have split into back end and front end. i want to create two different forms in 2 different front ends for 2 users. each user will see only a portion of a table in their forms. how would i do this, please?
thanks.

Use a query as the record source for the form.
Design the query to only select the fields you want shown.

You can link the pertinent tables to more then one front end. So just create a second front end with the queries and forms that are needed there and link the tables from the backend.

thanks everybody. the suggestions worked great.
