Hi all, from what I have been reading it appears that I can hook up a basic telephone line (or sip, cable modem phone, etc) to the SX-200 and declare it as a trunk.

What I am not sure about is what hardware is needed?

I have in stock the following gear:

Mitel SX200RM cabinet.
*(6x) Digital Line (12 CCT) 9109-012-001-NA
* FIM Carrier Card 9109-612-001-NA
* (2x) Digital Line (12 CCT) 9109-012-000-SA
* Bay Control 9109-017-001-SA
* Bay PSU

I am lead to belive that i need a analog trunk card.

From reading the technicains guide, I believe I have to set it up as a Non Dial-In Trunk.

Then I read this:

1. Form 01, System Configuration
- Program a trunk card that meets the trunk type requirements.

Which I don't know what that is.

Thanks!

Jim

Yes you need an analog trunk card.

Typical card is a 6 cct LS/GS trunk card.
