How to configure Avaya UPS and S8700? UPS control S8700

Dear guy
Now I want to complete one function. When UPS lose AC power, and it is low batter, UPS will send one command to S8700. Before UPS is failing, S8700 would be auto interchanged,and auto shutdown itself.
I want to know how to configure UPS and S8700, Would you like giving me some documents or solutions.
