Hi All

I have Programmed loads of e1/pri onto the 3300 over the years in the uk but I am off to America to link a 3300 back to the Uk over ip trunks. As part of this project I am taking the T1 circuit off the current telephone system and connecting it to the mitel controller.
Has anyone got any 'how to guides' or got any hints/tips on how to configure an T1 circuit on a mitel 3300?

Cheers

Nick

The only difference between E1 and T1 is channels (30 vs 24)

If you've done Loads of E1 then you should know enough to manage quite nicely.

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

Bwar. its an embedded dual T1/e1. cheers

KwbMitel. Really? the only difference is the number of channels in regards to programming?

Not 100% sure if all the settings would match but I think kwbMitel is correct in the main difference is that Euro PRI uses 30 as opposed to 23 channels. The other difference may be in CO ( Central office ) type. Not sure what the most popular type would be over there but DMS 100 was pretty popular here at one time until Nortel went bust. Cehck with the carrier.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

Digital T1 or PRI? If it's a PRI, knowing what CO switch type (DMS, 5ESS, etc.) you're connecting to will help. Either way it's pretty simple, though you may have to play around with some of the link descriptor settings, they can be finicky at times.
