How to confgure DNS in Single domain environment

Basically, I have three DC's of one w2k domain. These DC's are at separate locations throughout the country. Does DNS configure itself automatically when you install active directory or do I have to do a little bit more. If so, how would you suggest DNS should be configured.

Any advice appreciated.

On 10/12/01 I asked a similar question which was posted "DNS Again" In there, you will find a pretty good link to an article describing how to setup DNS. You will have to do some modfiications yourself, but that article is pretty helpful
