How do you come back from an operational AT-X code on the system via hyper terminal

Why did you AT-X in the first place? It's a last resort action.

What type of system? If IP500 V2 does it have the Avaya System SD card in place?

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

It is a 406 ds i was talking a colleague through the erase config via dte and they accidentally done at-x first.

Now system has a solid red light

Any ways to get it back from the erasing of the operational software?

create a bootp entry with the MAC address and IP address and point it to the correct 406 bin file, then make sure that your Manager is set to be bootp and TFTP server under File - Preferences
then it should get the operational software loaded

Copy of Manager on the correct version for the system, then follow the steps in the installation manual for the DTE process (making BootP entry etc)

P.s This is a classic case of the blind leading the blind :)
