It's the start up screen asking if you want to open a blank DB, an existing DB, or use a Wizard to make one. I think Tony is asking how to clear the existing DB list.
I don't know, never thought about it myself - it's too handy. I do know the recently used list in the options area is for the numbered list under FILE.

I don't know how to clear that list, though it's definitely picked up from the recently used list under FILE (though turning that off, or to zero, doesn't change the startup list).
You can, however, turn off that dialog box altogether from Options, View, and uncheck Startup dialog box.
Post if you figure it out!

No offense, but you've starred a post that was telling me something I already knew, as is clear by my post. And you've ignored the fact that I've given you a link to the solution to your problem.
P.S.
Chill.
You need better comunication skills for someone who simply comes here to answer questions without ever posting any, I guess this is the only way you get stars huh, not that it make a difference to me.

I don't need anything, actually. I come here to help. If it helps, that's great. If not, just ignore me. I don't actually care whether or not you give me a star, it's just, as I said, odd that you would give a star to someone who is offering misinformation and not to someone who supplied the answer to your question.
I don't believe I offered any kind of "misinformation" - I stated very clearly that I do NOT know how to clear it, and that the OPTIONS area only turned on and off the FILES list.
Besides, the link you provided talks about the FILES list - without trying it (I don't have access to the registry here at work) I don't know if it gets rid of the items in the Startup box. Has anyone tried it, and does it in fact eliminate the Startup box file list?

You're right, and I offer you my apology. There was absolutely no misinformation in your post. I'm not sure what I was thinking. I was probably offended at something someone wrote in another post, closed it so I wouldn't bother to respond, and then dumped on you.
