How to choose a subreport on the same place?

Hello

my prob is that i want to change subreport which is found on the same place,i.e i've 2 different chart with different database, which must be place on the main report. these chart represent values for different clients, some clients need the 1st chart and the rest need the 2nd chart.
i want to know if it is possible for me to do a formula which will place the good report on the right place. How can it be done,please help me waiting for an answer.

when you talk about placing the good report on the right place, i am guessing you are meaning you want to make sure the right clients get the right chart...

i am thinking what you could do is bring in both charts as seperate subreports - in seperate detail sections. Then suppress the detail sections with conditional formatting...

ex: for detail section with first chart:
{client_number} in ["1","6","9"]

for detail section with second chart:
{client_number} in ["2","3","4"]

then open your selection expert and on each detail section click "suppress blank sections"...


this is a theory since i have not tried it yet; but i think it would work... good luck
