I need to check if Portfast is enabled on Cat2948 Switch. I need to enable it on the ports which the two servers are on. But I can't remember the command since it is a set-based switch?? NE1 remember the command?

I think you have to go through and look at each port individually. Use the show spantree (mod/port) command. To enable portfast on a port, use set spantree portfast (mod/port) enable command. And to disable, use the same string, except replace enable with disable( set spantree portfast (mod/port) disable). One thing you have to be sure of is that you don't enable portfast on a port that connects to another switch, because it potentially causes spanning tree loops. Which will degrade your network availability.

You can do a show config, or show config all

You should see a line such as

spantree portfast (...list of ports...) enabled (or disabled)

set port host "mod/port" is nice little maco built into the CatOS line of code that allows you to turn ON portfast, turn OFF trunking, and turn OFF port channel to specific ports. Which is what you want to use when connecting a host machine to any CatOS based switch. FYI
