Hi, I'm exporting a standalone projector file from flash in both .exe (windows) and .hqx (macintosh). Is there any way to automaticaly find out the users' system and play one or the other depending on what they use? Maybe a batch file? Thanks a lot for your help.

The Key is more powerful than the Sword.

P.S. I am using Flash MX 2004 Pro, but Old, I'm sure an MX solution will work. Thanks

I've never yet done it (remember I'm not even in this business!), but you need both projector files on the CD (I gather you want this on a CD), and use an autorun on the PC file, and I guess another "autorun" file (whatever it's called on MAC), which should automatically run the appropriate file on each machine...

Think you'll find all the info you need in these...

Thanks Old,
looks like you can't do it without a mac. You need to burn a hybrid CD. Thanks anyway dude,

Yeah, I don't have or have access to a mac, but it isn't so important. I'll keep it PC based.
Thanks for your help.

You can get some software that allows you to burn hybrid Mac/PC format CDs from a PC - there are various ones available but here's more info.

Word of warning - if you go for "CD Everywhere" as your tool the cheapest version doesn't support burning hybrid disks.
