The printer i use keeps on printing on the 3 trade. How can i change it so it can print from the 1 trade?

Probably in tray setup section of printer control. If it is setup correctly and still prints from the wrong tray your application is set up wrong or your printer utilities are set up wrong.
You do have a manual, don't you? Ed Fair
Any advice I give is my best judgement based on my interpretation of the facts you supply. Help increase my knowledge by providing some feedback, good or bad, on any advice I have given.

Helps if we know the model of printer. Print a Configuration page and check if MANUAL = FIRST & MANUAL TRAY = OFF. (default) If not you need to go into your Tray menu on the control panel and change the settings. (don't forget to press 'Enter' or 'Select' to ensure it's changed...indicated by an *)Now if you have paper in tray 1 (manual) it will pull from there...if Tray 1 is empty, it will default back to Tray 3.

When i use word perfet. Thats when i have the problem. The Printer will only print from tray 3 and i want it to print from tray2, Cause trade 2 has letter heads i need.
Why does that happen only with word perfet? When i use any other type of document it work just fine. Please respond back!!!

Try and define on the printer in the Paper handling menu[/b) what kind of paper is in what tray (type/size) Afterwards set the selection to auto in the driver on tray selection and chose papertype when printing instead of selecting a tray to pick from. Preferably you should also use the PCL5 driver if possible as it tends to be more compatible than the PCL 6 driver. The only time you really need the PS driver, should be when printing specific fonts, PDF documents or large scale graphic (images ect.)
