I am the main user of a pc using windows 7. As the administrator I setup 1x user (name starting with C, 1x guest ( named as guest) and 1x user profile for myself ( name starting with B). I would prefer that when windows restarts from a shutdown, powerfailure or restart the logon that first appears is my own as the main user. However since I put on the other two users the pc always starts with the name with a C as the first user and I have to log them off to bring up my profile. I have looked in ctrl panel but not recognised anything to point me in the direction I need. Any help would be appreciated please. Thank you

Are you automatically logging in to a specific user and not getting the Welcome Screen with all users listed?

Automatic Logon Into Windows 7

The Welcome Screen has replaced the Classic Login Box as a login procedure in Vista (or Windows 7). Have a look at these and see what options are available to you.

How to get classic login screen?

Logon / Welcome Screen

Thanks so much Linney. I altered your solution slightly. As I didn't want to leave my password logged into the pc I realised I could do this another way. When the users accs window came up I realised that the account beginning with B actually had a full name of OEM still .I change this to start with A and voila! I am first to the login screen. I have to thank you for the tip to get to the users windows as this was bugging me in Win7. Think I'll bookmark this link and the win7 forums.
