How to change the name for existing Extension

Hi,

I m new to phone systems, can any one help me to change the name for existing extensions. I can change the mailboxes, but do not how to change the name for extensions.

Note: you may have to out the name first if it's longer than the one you want to change it to, depending on your system. these steps work for 11 and 61

Go to LD 95 and do Req = CHG, Type = Name, DN = ext then follow the prompts

Is it possible can you tell me how can I change using Phone System. I know using Feature "983" we can change the extension name, but futher which options I have to select I m not aware of it.

well, now you need to be in the Norstar forum, this is for larger Nortel PBX's
