I did the following with my Oracle tables from test to production.
If you have prefaced the tables with the test db (i.e. test.table), then I would copy the command to notepad and simply do a "replace all" of "test." with "prod.". Then copy back to your command object.
KSkid - i am not talking about changing tables from test to production. I am talking about the actual datasourse. want to change the server. Want to make the commmand to a different server ?
I believe I responded to Crystalboy1's question in another post he had, but you can use this method to change the datasource location of a command object in Crystal Reports 10.
If you select the command object and go to set datasource location. Then click the + next to Properties of the datasource. It should have an entry that says Service and then the name of your datasource. If you select this, right click and then select Edit you can change the name of the datasource you are going against. It should then prompt you for a login to the new datasource. I know this works for Oracle within Crystal Reports 10 anyway.
