How to change the default value to case sensitive?

Hi,

Our Microsoft SQL Server was installed as case insensitive by default. How to change the default value to case sensitive (without re-installing it again)? I hope we just need to change a simple setting somewhere…

It's not a simple setting that you can change.

Thanks for the link. I understand from that post that there are three levels of collation and it is possible to change the collation at any of these levels:

- server collation
- database collation
- column collation

I even found how to make the collation case sensitive at the column level: you open the table in Design view, you click on the column name you are interested in and you set the collation value to SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CS_AS. My question is: how to set the (default) collation to case sensitive at database level or even at server level? I was searching in the database properties and the server properties but did not find anything.
