how to change the boot drive letter

hi,


i have installed my win xp on F: but i want to change the drive letter to c: ...but disk management doesn't alow it

is there any other way to do it

(for 2k, but should work for XP too).

Though personally, I'd just wipe drive and start again if its that important (running on F: will work fine) - as you may have problems identifying and correcting all references to F: once its moved to C:.

PS. How come its on F: - is this a dual boot/was there another drive in the machine when you installed XP?
 
idd ,

there was another drive in the pc ...but that one crashed .
