Hi guys,
Recently I have changed on CMS in Intrahour interval from 30min to 15min, and I also changed the cron job to send it to TCS server(Windows 2k server) every 15min. When I view the report, the time still saying 30min interval.

Please help, any advise would be good.

thank you all

Hi,

You also need to change the setting on the Avaya PBX.

If you type the command: change system features

Under the call centre system parameters is a field which determines the split/skill interval. If you change this to 15 mins, you should start seeing your interval reports in 15 mins slots.

cheers

You also have to change the interval for which TCS is pulling the data. This can be changed by CSI or I believe you can just change the value in the tcs.conf file that should be located in the script install directory.

right on werdcrime, your the man! thanks mate.

out of curiosity what is CSI? how do I use it or load it up?

CSI is just what I last heard that Avaya professional services was called. Who knows...could be something different now.

Glad that worked out for you, I've been dealing with TCS and IEX feeds a lot lately so it was fresh in my mind.

Monitor the free space on the CMS. You're collecting twice as much data as you were before.

I think I miss out something, the report that sent to TCS server only in: 1:10,1:25,2:10,2:25,3:10,3:25...etc(every hour) but in 10 and 25 past only. NOT in 15min interval? I had check the crontabs folder and edit the file cms as follow:

10,25 * * * * /export/home/pserv/tcs4/manpower cron > /dev/null 2>&1

After I change to:
*/15 * * * * /export/home/pserv/tcs4/manpower cron > /dev/null 2>&1

After modify the file, it doesn't send in 15min interval, it sent the same as before.

Do I have to stopped any service or start something for it to happen straight away?

Thanks
