Full error is:
Microsoft Excel can't run this add-in.
Microsoft Excel cannot install the necessary files due to Windows Installer error 1605.
This action is only valid for products that the currently installed

I get this error 3 times while starting Excel (after splash screen). I also get a similar error when starting PowerPoint.

Background:
I was a beta tester for Office 2003, I then got the 120 day eval copy. Microsoft said to do a deinstall of the beta, then install this version. I did. That is when the errors started. With the beta, I installed the stock lookup add-in in Excel. I worked after the Eval install without any action on my park, put I did (I think ) reinstall it after having this problem anyway - did not help.

Any ideas?

This is probably easy, but I can't find anything in the online help that was even close! I have lots of data with positive and negative numbers... I would like to be able to change the group of numbers from positive to negative AND change from negative to positive
So: -135 would be 135 and 68 would be -68

Thanks,
Dave

First part don't know I'm afraid, but second part, simply type -1 in a cell, copy the cell, select your data range and do Edit / Paste Special / Multiply.

Thanks, the -1 worked just fine. The beginning part of this question was actually another post - I guess I should not try writing these at 12:30am!
Thanks again.
