Hi,
on Windows 2003 I would like to change a password using Remote Desktop. I tried to use Start | Settings | Control Panel | Administration Tools | Computer Management | System Tools | Local Users and Groups | Users | right click on user and select Set password. Message appears telling: "You should use this command only if you're forgotten the password and do not have a password reset disk. If you know the current password and want to change it, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE and clidk Change Password.

If I press CTRL+ALT+DELETE it is logicaly that my desktop computer reacts instead of remote computer. How to change password on remote Windows 2003 computer using Remote Desktop?
Regards

Depends on what password you want to change. If it is your own password, click on the Start button and there should be the Windows Security option which when selected will give you the same screen as Ctrl-Alt-Del

Think if its the RDP password that you want to change if you press CTRL+ALT+End, that gives you the option to change the password.

You don't have to issue a Ctrl+Alt+Del.. If you the Proceed button it should give you the change passwd dialog box.
