How to change number of rings before sent to voice mail

I am trying to figure out how to change the number of rings before the call is kick to voicemail.

I have tried going to Feat. 983 then AA/Lines/Rings

I have changed this 2 and even 1, but still kicks into voicemail after 7 rings...

is there something I am doing wrong?

Are you talking about going to a mailbox or haveing the AA answer the call? If it is AA then you need to also go into F982 and tell the system that is alright to answer lines.

Would you happen to know the default password for F982?

I can't seem to figure it out.
