Hi

I am having problem changing the Legend of the Chart.

does anyone know how to change the Legand????

Thank you

Please provide an example of the current legend and how you would like it to appear, and include any formulas that make up your group axis.

Hi LB

I am using an Advanced Layout Chart and all the calculation for the Chart are done on access query

Example
Total Calls = Count (Call No)
Total Answered Calls = sum( Total Calls) - (Total Abandon Calls))

I would like the Legend to appear as Total Calls and Total Answered Calls. but it’s appearing as Sum of "query name" . Total Calls

is there any way that i can change this?????

If you have only one summary, the legend refers to the "On Change of Field" field, and you can change the legend display by changing a formula for that field to the desired string options, e.g.,

If {table.date} in Date(2003, 01, 01) to Date(2003, 05, 31) then "Current" else "Obselete"

In your case, with multiple summaries, the legend identifies the two different summaries. I couldn't identify an "official" method to change the legend, but this works:

In preview mode, with the chart NOT selected, insert a text box over the existing legend for one series, and enter the desired text. Now you will see text overwriting text. Select the text box again (with the chart not selected) and right click and choose "border and colors." Check "background" and choose white. Size the text box as necessary to cover the underlying text. And voila, a customized legend!
