Is there a way to change key 19 CFW on a 3904 using the CLI.Also trying to enable call forwarding and disable call forwarding using CLI.

thank you for you help. I am a Nortel rookie.

Yes.

In LD 20 initiate a change of the set containing the key you want to change.

At the KEY prompt, enter 19 CFW XX YYYY

XX - The number of digits allowed to be entered by user
YYYY - Optional - The destination DN when the user activates the key.

Great! thank you for your time allenmac. I have Element Manager and can do it from there but trying to learn CLI and struggle with it. thanks again

Good Luck!

Usually people prefer one method over the other. Whichever one you are most comfortable with - stick to that. There aren't very many things that cannot be done in Element Manager anymore.

I always tell people the actual overlay that is doing the work. This is to empower them to refer to the books. You can't look up CHG or KEY in LD 20. Digital phones are changed in LD 11

Thanks GHTROUT. Good advice. I am a 54 year old NEC guy trying to learn Nortel. Right now it seems cruel and unusual punishment but everday I learn something and am better off than yesterday.
