I'm using MSP2007, I've set up some holidays and would like to change the highlight color so it's distinguished from weekend days. Is this possible?

On the timescale, right click and select 'Timescale'.
Select tab 'Non-working time'.
Choose appropriate color and pattern from drop-down list.

Thanks procygnus,

Following your procedure changes the highlight for weekends and holidays (non-working hours). Is there a way to just change the highlight for holidays?

wrbird - nope!
holidays are just more 'non-working hours'.
other than aesthetic appeal, it wouldn't matter, would it?

That's correct. I'm just used having those days stand out because I've been using GanttProject.

Thanks for your help!

asta powerproject apparently gives you the ability to color each bar according to nature of task!

So does GanttProject, and it's freeware.

So does MSProject. What does this have to do with colour coding the calendar (the original question)?

Nothing, I was just responding to procygnus' comment.
