How to change DTS owner name 1

I have a few DTS packages that do NOT have dbo listed as the owner. For some reason they won't run when scheduled. They only run when I kick them off directly from the SQL Server (2000). My thought was that I might need to change ownership of the package; how is this done?

Update the sysdtspackages table.

update sysdtspackages
set owner='sa'

... but if you save the package again using the designer, the previous owner name is re-set. The owner name is stored somewhere in the BLOB.
