Hello everyone, I have a Nortel M7310 and I am looking to change the auto attendants recording menu. I have been able to play around with the phone enough to change the company greeting, but if someone calls in and no one picks up, it plays the company greeting followed by the auto attendant menu (press 1 for this, 2 for that etc...). The old menu is no longer valid, and I need to change that recording. Any idea how I do that? Someone suggested disabling the CCR tree first, then making the changes, but I do not know what to do to change the menu once I have it disabled.

Is there anyway to simply disable the auto attendant, and just have the company greeting play before it goes to a general voice mail box? My company only has 3 people that regularly use the phone, and I'm the only one that would ever need to check messages really. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I don't really know much about this phone beyond what I read here.

If you no longer need to use the ccr tree then just disable it. If you want to change it you must also disable it as well. You disable it under the table menu and you change it under the ccr menu path 0. The path 0 is the recording for press 1 for this press 2...etc. After you disable it and re-record your grtg just make sure to go back and enable the tree.

I don't know if this matters, but I have to do all of the programming on the phone. I know I can access the TABLE menu by hitting FEATURE 983, then putting in my password (I know that at least, lol) and then I'm given GRTG, TABLE and LINES. If I hit TABLE, it says "GRTG TABLE:". I tried putting in table 0 but it said it was invalid. Am I going the complete wrong direction?

Enter table 1 and then scroll thru until you see ccr tree 1, then press disable. The "0" will be the path number when it's time to record your grtg. This is found at mbox aa othr, press other press ccr 1 and chg path 0.
