Hi All,

Currently we have two phones that ring when the DID of 8901 is dialled. The first phone is (native extension of 8905). The second is extension 9821.

I would like the first phone to stay as is but the second phone to have its DID changed to 8902. 8902 is also allocated to some cordless DECT sets but I want that to remain as is.

Please help !! Am really new to MITEL and need urgent assistance

Hi,

What kind of phones are they?

How do the DID's currently ring multiple phones? By ring groups or keys? My guess is ring groups due to them being dect phones. If so add the ext into the 8902 ring group

Well if both ring when 8901 is called then they are both most likely in a ring group. Find ring group 8901 and remove 9821. You can leave the ring group or delete the group and create a speed dial 8901 that points to 8905. Create a speed dial 8902 that points to 9821.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

Thanks Chris and Lou !! Waiting for customer's feedback !!!
